About the Event:
The Power Wheels Derby is a race where children ages 2-7 are invited to bring their personal Power Wheel and compete at the MacLean Park Speedway. Competitors will be split into two age divisions: 2-4 years old and 5-7 years old. Registered Power Wheels must be original stock vehicles with no modified batteries and all participants must wear a helmet.

Race-day Timeline:
- 8:30 – 9:15 am Check-in / Register
- 8:30 – 9:15 am Vehicle Inspections / Move to designated pit area
- 9:15 am Drivers Meeting
- 9:30 – 9:40 am Hot Laps for Limited Pro Stock Drivers (2–4-year-olds)
- 9:40 – 9:55am Hot Laps for Pro Stock Drivers
(5–7-year-olds)
- 10:00 am Approximate time Race Begins

Vehicle Information:
- Stock Power Wheels only
- Drivers body must be fully contained in the vehicles. Vehicles where the legs are on the outside (4-Wheelers, Tractors) are not allowed. Power Wheel must be a sit in vehicle - NOT a sit on vehicle.
- Only 12V batteries designed for Power Wheels vehicles are allowed.
- Traction devices or studs are NOT allowed in tires.
- NO bumpers, weights or anything to reinforce the vehicle is allowed.
- Drivers will be given 2 – 8 ½ X 11 numbers at check-in that they will place on each side of their vehicle.
