Personal History Mr. Buell is retired and has lived or owned property in Lake Jackson for over 45 years. He received an Honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps and is a Sam Houston State University graduate with a degree in Sociology and Criminology. Mr. Buell is also a past Project Teach board member.
Community Involvement Mr. Buell was elected as a Council Member, Position 4, in 2014. He served until he reached the term limit of eight years and was re-elected in 2024. Mr. Buell served as Mayor pro tem in 2021 and as a council liaison on most boards and commissions.
