BOND SERIES 2021 and 2025
In 2021, residents approved a $26.5 million bond series that included a major street rehabilitation project in Lake Jackson neighborhoods, replacement of library carpeting, a new animal facility, and an expansion to the police department.
In 2025, residents approved an $18 million bond series that included inflation costs to the police department expansion and other maintenance upgrades for generators and rehabilitation of the main fire station. It also included street panel replacements on city thoroughfares and drainage improvements throughout the city.
